Debbie is a hatha yoga teacher and is also a qualified reflexologist and reiki practitioner. She restores balance as well as a sense of calm and wellbeing in your life. Debbie's career background is in software; she has worked in a world leading organisation and has recently found a more fulfilling and balanced life through yoga and holistic health therapies.
Debbie teaches theYoga on a Sunday and Friday group classes in Barton Seagrave, as well as provides one-to-one reflexology and reiki by appointment.
My first introduction to yoga was in Sydney, Australia in my early twenties, with world-renowned Simon Borg-Olivier. Simon inspired me to pursue yoga as a great way to de-stress, and I love teaching its benefits of promoting a calm, focused mind and a healthy body.
Slow flowing or restorative sequences with mindfulness and breathing techniques influence my style of Hatha yoga. I like to focus on helping to improve posture and strengthen the back and core. As a qualified Hatha yoga teacher, I like to use traditional and creative influences from India and around the world; such as the ancient Indian practice of yoga Nidra (deep relaxation), as well as the Chinese origins of Yin and Yang yoga and African Kemetic yoga.

Jenny teaches a gentle hatha style of yoga which emphasises listening to your body and working at your own pace. The breathing and posture work builds strength, stamina and flexibility. The pinnacle of the class is the relaxation which is when true healing takes place and is extremely enjoyable. Hopefully students feel they have been challenged and found some transformation.
Gentle yoga is ideal for people discovering yoga at a more mature age or with physical constraints as they will have the space and time to explore the postures according to their own needs and limitations. Lack of flexibility is one of the best reasons to take up yoga. Jenny teaches Monday evening's weekly yoga classes in Woodford Village. She also offers one-to-one yoga therapy sessions. Helen has practiced Tai Chi and Chi Gong for 30 years and taught for 25 years. She has taught a vast range on abilities over the years from beginners to advanced and children to the elderly as well as people with disabilities. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. Tai Chi improves health, concentration and the gentle movements are ideal for people with balance and restricted movement.

themarketsanctuary.org The Market Sanctuary is a charity based in Northampton. They offer yoga classes, mindfulness, meditation, tai chi, reiki, reflexology and other alternative therapies.
Lindy is a yoga teacher with 10 years experience. She is also trained in Traditional Chinese techniques of restoring and maintaining good health. With twenty-five years work in academia and industry, Lindy has a wealth of life experience.
As a working mum who enjoyed sport, yet had frequent back trouble and bouts of stress, she found yoga a wonderfully healing release and practice. She teaches yoga on Monday evenings at Yeomans Court, Burton Latimer. Lindy's additional skills in KORE therapy enable her to treat, support and fix many more health conditions.
Maira advocates that yoga is for everybody regardless of age or ability. You don’t have to be flexible to try yoga. Regular practise makes you more flexible as well as physically and mentally stronger over time. Maira teaches yoga classes at Moon Henge in Wood Walton and occasionally joins us for joint yoga workshops in Kettering. She has specialist yoga classes for helping to improve mental health and general wellbeing.
Maira invites you to try out yoga with wrist or ankle weights, which are optional, for those that would like to burn more calories or simply feel a little more challenged in a yoga lesson.
Karen teaches hatha yoga to adults and nursery school children. She also offers private yoga lessons and valuable skills to help you to lead a more calm and balanced lifestyle.
Karen's private lessons include one to one meditation and a range of alternative therapies such as Indian head massage, Thai foot massage, Japanese facial massage, reiki, Hopi ear candling, crystal healing and aromatherapy.
Karen will be relocating to Italy where she will continue to teach yoga and in the future offer workshop retreats with us.
Yoga is about unity and connecting the mind, body and breath. Our focus is also to connect with each other. The yoga health and wellbeing community that we are creating is about connecting people and making new friends through shared interests and kindness within a fun and supportive environment.
We are a group of freelance yoga teachers and friends that come together occasionally to run yoga, meditation and tai chi workshops in Northamptonshire. Occasionally we provide cover for each other's classes as well as for yoga classes at gyms and schools in Kettering, Cranford and Burton Latimer. We each run our own individual weekly yoga or tai chi classes, one-to-one sessions and alternative therapies as detailed in each of our profiles above.
