Mind Body and You - Yoga Workshop
Join us for an afternoon of fun, movement and yoga. Enjoy a playful yoga practice focused on boosting your immune system. We will include flowing sequences to build strength and flexibility as well as to release blocked energy and stress. The yoga workshop will give you that extra boost to stay strong, healthy and happy this winter. As you practise yoga poses your focus will be guided to finding your inner strength to supercharge your immune system. There will be a break half way for a lovely cup of tea or some warming spiced apple. We will close with a blissful guided relaxation to bring calm and peace to your whole body and mind. Bring a friend or family member and share the joy of feeling energized for the coming winter.
Variations of yoga poses will be given so that people with varying flexibility and strength will be able to choose gentle or comfortable options for their own body and rest whenever they like. Yoga benefits the body and mind by helping to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Yoga also helps to improve posture and back flexibility with stretches that lift, lengthen and strengthen the torso. A free handout will be provided to help inspire you to practise more yoga.
For the yoga workshop, please bring your own yoga mat, a blanket and water to sip on.
